Message from the Founder
For as long as I can remember, my life has been intertwined with children, especially orphans. Growing up in Homs, I saw the impact a supportive environment can have on a child. My mother, a compassionate woman, devoted her time to an orphanage, teaching me the value of community service. For the past thirteen years as a humanitarian worker for Syrian refugees, I’ve witnessed the devastation of conflict on children and families. This experience has driven me to create Aldar—a lasting solution for orphans and their mothers.
Aldar aims to be a place of healing, learning, and growth, empowering these children to reach their potential and contribute to their community.

Waqf: A Legacy of Giving
A Waqf is a timeless Islamic endowment where assets are dedicated to a charitable cause, with the principal remaining intact while income supports the cause. Rooted in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Waqf has been cornerstone of Muslim societies for centuries. Our initiative builds on this, focusing on long-term sustainability where families, especially mothers and orphans, can thrive independently, offering a model for global development
Investment in Waqf Shares
Donors can invest in shares that fund the establishment and building of the entire city or specific components of it. These investments are the foundation that enables us to build a vibrant community hub, including a family housing complex, school, training center, masjid, and communal facilities.
Entrepreneurial Model
Aldar Waqf City will include commercial spaces. These spaces will generate rental income, which will be used to support the resident families, ensuring that the community can sustain itself economically.
